About Employment Letter Generator
The Employment Letter Generator combines two related but distinct HR documents into a single tool with a mode switcher: an Employment Verification Letter (addressed to a third party like a bank, landlord, or visa office) and a Letter of Employment (addressed to the employee themselves to confirm their job offer or terms). Both are generated the same way - fill in a form, preview the formatted letter, and download a watermark-free PDF - with no account, no subscription, and no software to install.
The Verification Letter mode creates a professional, ready-to-sign letter confirming that a specific person works for your organization. Banks, landlords, visa offices, mortgage lenders, and government agencies commonly request this. Fill in the employer's details, the employee's name, job title, start date, and employment type, and optionally include salary if the requesting party requires it. There is a "To" field so the letter can be directed at a specific institution, such as "To: ABC Mortgage Bank, Loan Processing Department."
The Letter of Employment mode creates a formal, letterhead-style confirmation directed to the employee - typically issued when a new hire joins, when an employee requests confirmation of their role and pay, or when someone needs a formal record of their employment terms for a loan, visa, or rental application. Fill in company details, the employee's job title, salary, start date, employment type, and any probation period details, plus additional terms like notice period or reporting structure in a free-text field.
Both modes produce a clean PDF with letterhead, a clear body statement, and a dated signature block. If you need a wet signature, print it, sign it, and scan it back. Alternatively, use the Digital Signature tool on this site to add a signature digitally and keep the whole process paperless.
